Signs Workshop

Commercial signage identifies a business, assists in wayfinding and attracts customers.

Such signs will normally include the name of the business, maybe in the form of a logo, and sometimes the use of pictures in addition to and in the place of words.

Signs can come in various shapes and forms, and each commercial sign has the same purpose of identifying or attracting customers to their business.

Commercial signs are normally purchased by the owner of the business indicated on the sign.

Many large corporations provide signs free-of-charge to relevant business environments where their corporation's competitive products may be sold. For example in a drinking establishment, such as a bar or pub there could be numerous small signs on the walls, each advertising and suggesting their drink to the prospective customers.
